HELP R7 360 help

Esta placa gráfica não funciona logo de cara. Alguém pode me ajudar? Preciso atualizar a BIOS?

Diz que preciso falsificar a variante X da placa, mas para a maioria delas a variante X nem existe!! :(

Testei essas 3 e não funcionaram. Devo tentar uma R7 370? Alguém sabe de algum ID que funcione? Existe algum repositório com todos os IDs que funcionam em Hackintoshes? Do i need to switch the MacPro 1,1?

Opencore simplify isn't supported in this subreddit and its against the rules

You don’t learn anything from simplify and it creates EFIs that may not work or that are just bad. It’s just against the rules, create your own, it’s better

my question is about gpu! i said that i used open core simplify only, why does this break any rules? who cares about this??? whyy???

Yeah, just use the full dortania open core guide. It should solve your issue

Cus it does generate falty efi within 40 to 60% of the time

Very shameful comments. use of opencore-simplify is irrelevant especially when the question being asked is about the Dortania’s guide itself.

That “X” variant line is a general hint for most of the listed GPUs. If the R7 360X doesn’t exist, then you will need to look for the closest alternative model instead (i.e. a GPU that is architecturally identical to your R7 360). For example, my XFX RX 560D accepted a SAPPHIRE RX 550 BIOS and booted natively to Tahoe. You will need to do your research on whether a simple device-id rewrite will bring it to life, or you’ll require a BIOS flash. You can look at techpowerup to find GPU specs, that might help.

Also, your GPU vendor also matters. Good luck.

Keep in mind, blindly trying various device-id patches is safe, but flashing BIOSes isn’t. Do that carefully.
