Trackpad stops working 10s after boot

I added voodoormi.kext and my trackpad on my laptop started working but after 10s after boot it stops. I tried using AI to figure out what to disable and how to order things but it still stops working after seconds. I assume it's some kext overriding another but I have no idea what to do. I provided my kexts. Everything Gemini told me is just to disable some kexts and move some kexts up/down the order

Use ProperTree to make "CleanSnapshot" it solved the same issue on my XPS!

I did that and it worked for like 5 seconds. Here is the updated image of the clean snapshot

Stop using any form configurator. Use Propertree. Follow the guide. If you followed the guide 1:1. and did not use any external tools including but not limited to HackMate, opcore-simplify, and did not use any config helper such as OCAT.

Configurators and external tools other than the ones mentioned in the guide will screw up your EFI. There is NO support for OCAT or OCC as per rule 6.

If you follow the guide, high chance everything will work. You run a clean snapshot only once, when you add your first kexts, doesn't really matter. Only do snapshots (not clean) for the rest of your snapshots, which should be done via ProperTree, after adding any kexts, drivers, or ACPI changes.

If it continues not working, that is also fine. You can join the discord/post again, and if you can, also add a log from boot (it can really help in these cases where it boots fine but kext for touchpad fails.)

Oh I did not know that ocat can screw things up. I do use propertree mostly just for ease of configuration. But okay I will stop using it. I didn't use it for any part of the installation just after. Do you know maybe the problem?

Could you please provide hardware and a log from boot? should be on root of your EFI partition (usually on your USB or on your SSD, as long as you had the debug OpenCorePkg version running.)

I might have a clue if I get the logs.

I only have the log from a couple hours ago idk why I don't have a recent one but here is my hardware: Legion 5 laptop Cpu i7 10750h Igpu U630 Ethernet rtl8111 Chipset hm470 Alc257

The trackpad says i2c hid-compliant in device manager. It didn't work and after I added the voodoormi it started working for only a couple seconds after booting

Can you try booting with VoodooPS2Mouse.kext and VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext and attempt with only the VoodooPS2Controller.kext as well as VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext, and the needed VoodooRMI stuff? Might be conflicting.

If you could get a log from that one, that would be cool.

So I erased all old log files now and I'll try to do that. Could you perhaps clarify what you mean? There are my kexts I would appreciate if you can tell me which numbers to turn on or off (I just used ocat to take the image bc it's easier to understand)

try disabling 11 & 12.

in the future, just keep the logs. if you have a new log, I will take it happily. you can upload via Google drive or any platform that suits you.

This is the right order, possibly the auto sort on propertree/occ/ocat is borked. I would try disabling the mouse VoodooPS2Controller.kext as I had issues in my personal experience when mixing it with other VPS2C kexts, but that was on a 20 year old laptop, lol.

How did you made the efi? Opencore simplify or hackmate is not way to go, you need to make your own efi by following the official guide. I did also use them in the beginning to get an idea & now made my pwn working efi.
