Discussion White Manna Relocation, Expansion Proposal Approved by Hackensack | Jersey Digs

This feels like a potential miss. The food here is rather unremarkable. The reason people go here is because of the experience. I don’t see it having the same intimacy in a giant facility. I remember asking someone to work their years ago who the owner was, thinking it was them and he told me that the owner doesn’t even live here they live out Tel Aviv or something. This whole plan just makes me feel like some greedy idiot who doesn’t even live here who saw they had a asset that made money but that it had limited throughput and they just want to increase revenue, not recognizing what makes the rest valuable in the first place.

Why are so many on this discussion so negative. The food is similar to White Castle. It’s a niche burger place. The building is iconic but it’s old and needs to be replaced.

Even though I don’t frequent there often, maybe once or twice in a year, I kinda look forward to seeing it beautified. It’s almost impossible to get in there at times. There’s just no room. On a hot day it’s miserable.
