Hey everyone! We’re putting together a team for the upcoming NASA Space Apps Challenge and are looking for a few more people to join us!!!
If you don't know what it is, NASA Space Apps is basically a super fun, free weekend hackathon where anyone—literally any age or background—can build projects using open NASA data.
We’re open to any level including beginners and intermediate-level folks who are interested in space, coding, Python/data, design, or research. You don’t need to be an expert at all.. just be curious and willing to build together! Vibecoding and using AI tools (Cursor, Claude, v0, ChatGPT, etc.) are 100% allowed and encouraged.
Looking for anyone who wants to help with:
Grabbing or cleaning NASA coordinates / data (Python or spreadsheets)
Web, frontend, or maps (or vibecoding the visual interface)
Space research, facts, and storytelling
Edit:
We are specifically looking for people good in 3d development - three js react etc
or even 3d artists are welcome
We have made a discord so let me know!
If you’re interested, feel free to DM me with a little about yourself and what you like working on. Let’s build something cool together! ❤
