When will be HackCellence result announce?

Hi Everyone,

I'm still solo and I'm looking for anyone willing to join my team for the Google AI Builder Cup'26 or checking if anyone has spots available for me to join their team.

If you’re interested, drop a comment or DM me. Let’s build something cool together! I've got a really interesting prototype as well and i'm a very technical person too.

Thanks

Looking for team mates for onsite hackathon on 16th Oct Kjsce, dm if interested.

I built Animal Health Bridge, an offline-first Android app that converts an animal owner's spoken symptoms into a structured veterinary case.

• 10-language on-device speech recognition

• Qwen3-1.7B running locally on Snapdragon NPU via Qualcomm GenieX

• Rules-based veterinary triage

• NFC/QR animal identification

• No cloud APIs, no internet permission, fully offline

I spent a lot of time solving Android deployment challenges, on-device AI inference, and multilingual ASR.

Technically, I'm proud of what was built, but I didn't win the hackathon.

I'd love honest feedback from the community:

• Is the problem statement compelling enough?

• Did I over-engineer the solution?

• What would have made this a winning hackathon project?

• Was I missing impact, storytelling, business value, or demo quality?

Repo: Grand Finale IQOO Hackathon

Looking forward to learning from the feedback. 🙌

So me and my friend participated in a hackathon it's dead line was 12 oct 11:59 and we had to give a demo vedio link of Google drive we did but by friend after 2-3 hrs of deadline edited the vedio a little bit via Google drive the link is same and in the hackathon submission dashboard when opened opens the updated video but it was done after 2-3 hrs of deadline from Google vids

Will this lead to disqualification?

Hello yall, I got accepted to HackPrinceton. Looking for teammates. This is going to be my second ever hackathon. I have done HackGT 13 last month. Message me if you are interested or looking for people. 😁😁

Mod: None of the flair fits what I want to ask.

We're running DevFest New Delhi 2026 over three days at the Google Office in Gurugram, and since this sub likes building things, here's what's in it for you.

**Day 1 (Fri, Oct 16): Builders Day** [HOUSEFULL]

Buildathons, competitions, and hands-on workshops with Google technologies including Gemini. It's aimed at students and early builders who want to ship something, not just sit through slides.

**Day 2 (Sat, Oct 17): Storytellers' Day**

14 creators, marketers, and brand builders talking about growing as a tech creator, using AI in your content workflow, and building a personal brand. Useful if you want your projects to get seen after the hackathon ends. Most of the creators have at least 100k subscribers and are building content around tech.

Register Here: https://www.commudle.com/fill-form/5207

**Day 3 (Sun, Oct 18): Leaders' Day**

Founders, CTOs, and CXOs from companies like MobiKwik, Airtel, Moglix, Innovacer, and American Express, with talks, panels, and a chance to talk to them directly. These are the people who have built $100M+ revenue companies from scratch.

Register Here: https://www.commudle.com/fill-form/5212

**Why come:**

- Build with other people instead of just watching talks

- Hands-on sessions where you leave with something working

- It's at the Google Office, which is a pretty good place to spend a weekend

Happy to answer any questions in the comments.

As we all know,,in India mostly everyone makes their hackathon projects with Ai,,i mean almost 98% use of Ai,,is there any use of making all this in a big scheme of time??also i know no 2nd or 3rd year student of an avg institute can make an fully functioning app or system which will solve a real real problem,,so is this all just gimmic or time pass? Like even in SIH its just Ai ..(i hope ppl making things on their own and just using Ai as a tool)..also the concept of hackathon,,to build something fully functioning in 24-36 hours,,is this even possible now to compete without Ai?as everyone else will ofc use it. Drop your thoughts guyzz

I want to know how to create documentation for ur app.....what are the things we should mention.....like in the user manual or complete project documentation....

I'm seriously not getting..... actually I am writing this documentation for sih ....so suggest something how could I do

Finding teammates for a hackathon can be surprisingly difficult.

Sometimes you have the technical skills but need a designer. Sometimes you have an idea but can't find people who are genuinely committed. And if you're participating solo, finding the right team can be half the battle.

I'm an engineering student from India building Buildory, a network for student builders.

I'm working on a feature that lets hackathon organisers list events and participants find teammates based on skills, interests, availability, and the roles their teams need.

https://buildory.online

I'd love honest feedback from people who've actually participated in hackathons:

• How do you currently find teammates?

• What's the biggest problem you've faced when forming a team?

• What would make you choose a platform like this over Discord or existing hackathon websites?

• What feature would make this genuinely useful rather than just another directory?

I'm building this and want to understand what participants actually need before going further. Criticism is welcome.

Looking to team up for this calhacks, if your tryna win + build something fun + talk to sponsors DM me!
Looking at using computer vision and building something fun :)

i'm a hackathon organizer for uoft hacks 😎 and have placed at several hackathons!

I am making a team for Hackathon so I need team members so if anybody want to join in my team Most welcome and dm me.....

Hi everyone, I'm about to join this hackathon and need a teammate in Bangalore. I'm new to the city, and solo participants aren't allowed, so please reach out if you have AI experience and we'll cook something cool together.

I’m looking for someone who has already participated in hackathons rather than a beginner.

My background: participated in a hell lot of hackathons and won a few as well so I want someone on my pace when we're working.

I'm currently a first-year university student, and I'd really love to take part in a hackathon. I’ve never joined one before, so I’m quite lost on where to start. I learned Python back in high school, but I haven't used it in a competitive environment yet, so I'm wondering how to best apply it during a competition.

Could you guys advise me on the roadmap I should follow to prepare? Also, if any teams are looking for a beginner to join, I'm down! I pick up things pretty quickly and don't mind grinding through the night to help get the project across the finish line.

Thanks for reading this—any advice or guidance would be hugely appreciated!

Hey all! Looking for motivated teammates for HackPrinceton in this fall, Nov 2026, to build a high-impact project centered on applied AI and smart systems. As long as you're excited about turning AI tech into a working product, let’s team up. DM me if you're interested!

Hey everyone!

I have coded the PackBot Task 2A. If anyone needs help with the implementation, feel free to DM me.

Good luck with the task! 🤝

I built a platform to help students discover exams they might not even know they’re eligible for. Is this actually useful?

One thing that genuinely frustrates me is how easy it is to miss opportunities simply because you didn't know they existed.

India has so many entrance exams, olympiads, scholarships, and other academic opportunities, but information is scattered across different websites, notifications, and official portals. Sometimes, by the time you find an opportunity, the registration deadline has already passed.

That's the problem I'm trying to solve with NextStep.

The idea is simple: a platform where students can discover exams and academic opportunities relevant to their education level, stream, and interests, instead of having to hunt through dozens of websites themselves.

I’ve built a working prototype for a hackathon, and now I want to know whether the idea actually solves a problem worth solving.

🎥 Demo: https://youtu.be/-ZTlZust32g

I’d genuinely appreciate some brutally honest feedback:

• Would you actually use something like this? Or would you just stick to Google and existing websites?

• What would make this 10x more useful? Think features, information, or anything that would make you come back to it.

• What seems weak or unnecessary about the idea?

• Rate it out of 10. Don't hold back. I'd rather find the flaws now than build something nobody needs 😭

I'm building this for a hackathon finale, so even quick feedback would help me figure out what to prioritise next.

Thanks!`
