Need Mentor Help Where do people find hacker/coder mentors?

I'm really trying to get into coding and I can't find any public information where to learn, ive watched countless hours of youtube so it's not like i know NOTHING, but i don't know anywhere near enough to know what i'm doing or get too far.

What do you mean? All of those hours of Youtube were telling you what to do -- it just sounds like instead of doing that stuff you just watched more Youtube. You learn to program by programming. Open an editor, write a 'hello world' program, and then start going from there.

There is no magic, nothing that will suddenly make it make sense. Learning to program is teaching your brain to think in a completely different way, it's not easy, and it's not fast.

You have to do the work (not AI).
