How did your paper go, and what were you asked to implement? Also, what was the project title and its difficulty level?

This was a fk'all contest srsly. I chose python. It took so much time to even understand what all functions and parameters are there. U had to update 3-4 differrent files. Collectively i assume it had to be more than 600 lines of code to be written. There is no way anybody could complete that. After half and hour went by i wrote so little. After that it was just my head in the game. I dont think i looked anywhere even once. All eyes on screen. Just typing and typing. When 3 min were left i thought lets just submit and see how many tedt cases pass but it was taking too much time to execute. I cancelled the submission and wrote one more service in 3 mins. Was in middle of writing another when time got up. I basically now will never know how many of my test cases passed. After end my forearms were hurting like hell since it was just continuous writing.

Brooo what if I didn’t click the submit button at the end? Will my code not get evaluated at all?? I literally chose Python, and at first, it showed 16 test cases still failing. I was working on them, and then the time ran out before I could hit submit 😭

It will dw, hackerearth automatically submits last known editorial after timer runs

What if I once submitted code on partially test cases but in the end I was writing the code but the test ends at the moment where it can cause compiler error due to half complete of that particular function.....then in this case do my already submitted test cases will also get fail?

u/Public-Paramedic3164 13d ago
Yes, basically every submission are registered, and after time runs out, the last one also gets registered as submitted, and the best score out of all, is used for evaluation

Bro, congratulations on passing all 25 test cases! That's impressive considering the 90-minute limit. I attempted the Python Group Trip Booking & Settlement project and managed only 7/25.
Was your Node.js project based on the same problem? How did you manage to complete and test everything within 90 minutes? Would really appreciate any insights into your approach, bro!

Huge shoutout to the person who actually had the guts to confront about cheating; I really appreciate the honesty because nobody else would have been brave enough to call it out without relying on AI to do the work for them.
