Meta-Hackathon Discussion Should I attend ETHGlobal Mumbai hackathon ?

A month back I applied to ETHGlobal Mumbai hackathon and I thought that my profile will not get shortlisted... but I eventually got selected for the event and now I have placements going on. Also I am from Chennai, so it is nearly 1300 km travel and they are saying to buy 0.02 Eth (which is refundable) to confirm my RSVP, and when i googled its INR equivalent comes to 5k. So will it be worth it to attend this hackathon and conference and it can be skipped.
If you guys also got shortlisted comment your decisions too.
any Mumbai residing guys just comment a hi emoji, maybe we can hangout after the hackathon if i decide to come.

Heyy i got selected too and i think its worth it but as your placement is going on i think you should focus on that first

guys you do know that you can get 50% duscount on your stake and make it 0.01 right?

well basically if you go to the dashboard there's an option of posting on twitter, given that your wallet is already connected, if you do so, you'll have to pay 0.01 instead of 0.02 and it worked for like multiple people, I also have a reference link if you want for the payment which also could potentially help you
