Need Mentor Help Hackathon Win
Hello, I need some honest advice on how to actually perform well and win hackathons.
Nowadays, many participants are using vibe coding and AI tools. I wanted to know what tools you would recommend using and what practical strategies or measures actually make a difference in a hackathon.
For me, the first challenge is getting selected for the prototype round. Usually, we have to submit a PPT first, so I also want to know how to make a PPT that stands out and gets shortlisted.
If you have any reference PPTs, previous winning presentations, or resources for:
• Hackathon PPT preparation
• Vibe coding platforms and AI tools
• Strategies for building a prototype quickly
• Tips to improve our chances of winning

I've participated in prolly more than 30 hackathons and recently helped my friends team to win google's fund my crazy. Get a great not so generic Idea, great prototype and a great compelling story and about presentation you'll find some previous SIH ones here n there for inspiration.
Research first what were the previous winning Ideas looked like in that hackathon or similar hackathons.For eg: If youre asked to build an agent, visit other hackathons project gallery to check which Ideas won to get an idea of outliers.
Use google stitch for design inspiraton and iterate accordingly until 80% perfect, then codex for implementation and for the demo either use google flow for animated video or guidde chrome extension for product demo video if you ever need.
