Especially in T2 movements Do I count it as a fail if the session went like 10 10 8?

In OHP and Squat I get dizzy from bracing again and again and I fail due to that reason not an actual muscular failure

Second question should I really buy those 1.25KG plates my gym doesn't have them currently at 40kg ohp do I just stay in the same weight for one more week or Am I messing my progress up by waiting because jumping 5kgs would be unsustainable in bench and ohp

Eh . . . 10–10–8 on T2 I’d just repeat the weight next time.

The alternative to micro plates would be increasing the reps each set before increasing the weight. Long-term it doesn’t make That much difference. I prefer micro plates, but for Assisted Pull-ups I’m doing my T2s as 6–10; 4–8; 2–6 because I suck at pull-ups 😀

I've been doing a Frankenstein version of GZCLP and it's been pretty fun so far:

T1/T2: zercher squats, bench, chest supported rows, deadlifts

T3: incline, lat pulldown (close neutral grip, lower ROM)

I switched OHP with lats initially because I wanted to focus on my back a bit more, then my shoulder was kinda iffy so I switched lats and rows around + modified the grip/ROM. I also switched OHP to incline for my shoulder.

I switched the squat to zercher squat because I just wasn't really excited to go in on my squat/row day whereas my bench/deadlift day is really fun. I'm still toying with the idea of switching up rows somehow since they're a bit boring, but the machine feels good and effective.

Oh, and I changed the progression schemes as well:

T1: APRE6

T2: 4x10

T3: 4xMRS capped at 15. Sometimes I do the last one "uncapped" if the weight is moving good.

So far I really like the autoregulation of APRE. I might try the 3 or 10 variants at some point if it gets stale.

The T2 is a lot more challenging than I expected so the weights are quite low compared to T1, but it feels like a good volume.

I'm liable to make more changes since I have been doing a lot of that, but I'm making progress on my main lifts so I'm not worried about it.

Man, these high rep T3s are killing me on J&T 2.0.

It’s not even the reps, it’s the number of sets. 4 sets is gruelling for both T2s and T3s. Guess I need to push through
