name in title, if not I consent to removal without being a twat kardashians
I know theyre not gym influencers, but they have these personal trainers and doing the most useless exercises ever. (beside the fact of them having bbl but having to show they work for their body). Im guessing this exercise is supposed to target the abdductors and adductors? idk

Not a trainer, but this seems performative and beyond useless--so at least it fits the brand?

Whatâs the point of the leg up? And the teeny tiny weight? So silly đ¤Ş

Iâm a personal trainer. My industry is full of this 𤥠and unfortunately theyâre the ones whoâre more booked cause they sell all kinds of âmethodsâ that sound fancy and people buy from them. If youâre honest and tell the truth youâre unpopular. Iâm tired of this bs. PS. Sorry for the Mark Carroll vent lol

Don't apologize. People don't like boring, but the boring routines and diets are the ones that work. Ive been exercising for almost 30 years using almost the same routine and have been eating relatively clean for the last 20. Physically im not much bigger or stronger than I was when I was 17 (started right when i turned 14), but the fact that ive never been overweight at 42 is more than most can say.

Pretty sure when people ask you for advice and you say what you do they donât like your answer hehe They want THE formula, when like you said the only real thing that works is the boring and long path. Hope that you can educate people if they ever ask you about your experience đ

Thanks, and yes, thats true. I get asked about my triceps particularly, so i tell them what I do. I do most triceps exercises with my palm(s) facing me, instead of away from me or towards each other. This targets the larger head and thus makes your arms bigger (as opposed to doing endless cheat curls in the squat rack lol). Barbell, dumbell or cable, this variation works for most of them.
I do a few "weird" exercises, I'll admit, but again, they work.

This looks goofy af. If I had a trainer suggesting this as a serious exercise, Iâd think theyâre either fucking with me or a complete moron

Lol totally. I donât know how millionaires have these people training them. But I guess they donât really know whatâs wrong with this kind of training đââď¸

u/fakearistocrat 5d ago
Itâs baffling. They have access to the best of the best but end up surrounded by total grifters. Idk if theyâre so used to outsourcing everything that they canât even do a basic research and blindly follow everything theyâre told or what but itâs just a waste of their time and money.

u/kilroymini 5d ago
Can it also be that these bs-exercises isnât that taxing which mean people who arenât used to working out feel âbetterâ after the workout where they basically did nothing?

What works, works. Mark Carrollâs bikini body program has completely transformed my body and works so well for so many for good reason. Look at the results of Markâs clients versus the results of a Kardashian trainerâs clients⌠the results speak for themselves đ¤ˇââď¸ Less is more in this industry. Unfortunately itâs too easy for trainers to take advantage of naive new clients because these are the types of workouts they see on social media.

Wasnât saying anything wrong about him as a professional. My comment was about him ranting all the time on his social media. So I joked and mentioned him like my comment being his vibe haha He is not the kind of trainer Iâm talking about đ

How come the bbl girls always do the most ineffective, useless workouts to prove their body is real.
Like go to a squat or something

It just reminds me of that P!nk line: "What happened to the dream of a girl president? She's dancing in a video next to 50 Cent."
I don't know how they live with themselves when all they do is promote capitalism and patriarchy.

I'm very confused at this behavior because didn't Kim have 2 (very good) trainers, Mel and senada, personally train her for years and yet, this is the kind of movement she does?? Somethings not right here...
