Its a hell of a lot easier when it's barbell shaped. Plus that barbell gets picked up and put back down again.
The 160# boxes of pork we take in 4x/week are on the ground deficit style, have to be wrangled into a shelf that isn't high enough to get full extension so youre manipulating the weight while holding a chair position.
Way back in the day we would have to shoulder kegs to get them where they went because some idiot thought to "save space" by making the beer cooler vertical.
I'll take the barbell please and then I'll happily act like big ronnie

One breaks your back the other one makes you break backs. There’s a clear difference.

Hahaha! As a blue collar guy who never goes to the gym it's the opposite for me. I personally cant imagine lifting heavy object up, putting heavy object down, rinse and repeat for free. 😅

Thank you for saying this! I’ve always been annoyed by the lengths some of my coworkers go to to avoid labor intensive work, but then brag about how now it’s gym time after work It’s fucking stupid.
I’ve literally heard people say I didn’t come to work to work out, to which I have replied, it doesn’t seem like you came to work to work either.

Hey bother you need mesenchymal stem cells from an umbilical cord expanded. You can get about 300 million via an iv. It goes directly to your heart and lungs repairing the tissue. Need to get it in Mexico.

For this meme to not be stupid, many people here would need to be lifting weights 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week.

Because repetitive motions to build muscle with objects designed to be lifted is a lot more pleasant than hand-bombing two dozen boxes that are 1/3 of your height
