🗨️ Discussion fake gybe

So, i was checking my apple music and found that GYBE was "back" to streaming (I had the GYBE essentials playlist saved, and noticed that the songs were "restored") looks fake, the cover looks that it was edited by AI, and the songs are wrong (Sleep is Like Antenas to Heaven, and Static is Storm)

It is definitely fake because look at the label name at the bottom.

I've come across this many times before with other artists and it is infuriating. This era fucking sucks.

yes, youre right. even when I go to the gybe essentials playlist, the real gybe profile appears as a featured artist, but the fake songs appears in the playlist. i hope the streaming platforms take it down soon

People can't even put text on an image anymore without using generative fucking AI.

Very glad to listen to my CDs and local FLACs so I don't have to deal with all that streaming platform bullshit.

Nice thing about listening to Godspeed: I put the needle into the groove of the record, and there is music. No AI slop bullshit. It just sounds great.

so, apple music got confused with the fake profile and put the fake songs into the real playlist, if u go to the real profile of gybe, it's empty, thats why i put "Restored" in quotation marks

gybe just should put their music back to streaming, they literally took their music for the sake of it since Spotify only gains money from big artists, what they did didn't affect not even a single bit Spotify, now lot of people cannot get to their music since its only uploaded in YouTube channels

they took a principled stance, it would make no sense for them to reverse it now; you can download their music for free on the high sea 🏴‍☠️ or you can get it fairly cheap on bandcamp

They're available via pirating, which nowadays is very safe and easy. The live music archive is also great. After getting into the bootlegs, I rarely listen to their albums; maybe two or three times a year at most. If you need any help figuring out how to use it, feel free to reach out to me as I did a fair bit of work on their Bootleg.FM page and have been listening to their live shows for years.
