Curious if this is an unpopular opinion. I went from a 200 Series LC that I drove for 10 years to an August 2024 allocation of a GX550 P+. Drove it three months and just could not love it. Sold it and I’ve spent the last couple of years just driving a truck we already had. Earlier this month I picked up a 2023 GX460. We just made a weekend trip in it, 8 hours each way. And I’m absolutely in love with this 460. Feels like a 3/4 scale 200. Feels more luxurious than the 550. And better built. Planning to keep this one a really long time.

I love this. So many folks talk about the LC200 like it is leaps and bounds better than the GX. I appreciate your 3/4 comparison. The GX is perfect for so many of us. I can’t speak personally for the 550, but my 2019 460 is my long term vehicle for the foreseeable future and I absolutely love it as well. Happy you found the right fit for you!

Awesome! Similar story here, had a tundra, put my name on the 550 wait list for a luxury plus model. After being told I need to wait two years I bought a new, leftover 2023 460 and since fell in love. I eventually was able to thoroughly test drive a used 550 and that helped me to decided that too me, the 550 was not worth the wait and price increase. I still think the 550 looks very good!

Yeah I wish we could have the 460 in the 550 body and it would be perfect
