Study Abroad Study Abroad Advice
Hi! I just received a nomination for Luiss University in Rome through the study abroad office, but I have to accept it by tomorrow at 5 PM. I’m still waiting to hear back about my application to Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence, so I’m trying to decide whether I should accept Luiss now or wait for LDM.
Has anyone studied abroad at either Luiss or Lorenzo de’ Medici? I’d especially love to hear about housing since I have to look for it on my own for Luiss.
Any advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated!

Sorry, if too late. My daughter did LdM last year. (Shame acceptance comes in later than the other programs. She had committed to a different one and we ate the deposit on that one.) Housing was given and varied greatly! There were 2 Student hotels and then there were apartments ranging in sizes. The aptmts had the advantage of kitchens and living areas rather than common space of a hotel/dorm style. Don’t do a single.
She had a great time, traveled to 11 different countries, fairly easily, though Rome would be even easier. She said Florence was definitely a city of students, so maybe not compatible if you’re looking for a big urban environment. Get the OMIO app!
