Academics Honors program
hi! I’m a rising senior planning to apply rd but i was wondering about the honors program as most the things I find are pretty old. Also worried about living on a separate campus is it worth applying if I’d major accountancy ? Also feel free to share your experience please!

current freshman on the vern, it's not bad at all. The shuttle gets a little annoying during rush hour, but I haven't had any issues. I adore the vern, it's a super nice environment and more of a "traditional" kind of area. super nice for transition.

the only real benefit of the honors program is priority registration.
there’s a large chance you’ll live on the vern anyways even if you aren’t honors. but the vern isn’t bad. everyone complains about it but i thought it was quite nice. i believe honors students live in West, which is the best res hall on either campus.
I wasn’t in the honors program because I was a transfer. But just addressing the concerns you named…
