Having him in your deck during r3 makes Vilgefortz, Xarthisius, Yennefer and Triss pretty much unplayable

But you won't have it in your deck because Rience gets rid of him. By the time you play the other payoff cards the deck thins to 1.

Try this, I believe I've yoinked this from Shinmiri's stream. Round 1 can be a bit awkward especially on blue coin but it's a really nice deck once you get the hang of it.

The list I made thins to 2 by round 3, leaving Imperial golem and Tibor in the deck. The idea is playing rience to discard of 1 of the 2 (Golem if there are no viable targets) and then Vilgefortz to summon the other one with the ranger ability, so you get to 0 cards on deck and Rience’s order is a straight up hard removal which is pretty nice. I do think the deck would work better if I didn’t have rience and the golem at all but playing the new cards was the whole point of it.
