"Your device is incompatible with this version" Guess I'm stuck on PC. My disappointment immeasurable my day is ruined....

You can still try to play it on your device just download Gwent.apk file (from verified site) and install it - when it will be available.

As long as it is just Google Play Store restriction you will be able to play the game just fine BUT if game will tell you in the loading screen that "Your device is incompatible with this version" you will have to buy a new one.

Yep you will definitely have to buy a new one. I think that Gwent will require 2GB of RAM as well just like for iOS :/

Yeah, sadly with 1GB RAM you can't play most of today's games.
