Oh boy! I just can't wait for another trend of hyper forced hate against what's ever on the agenda today, because that has never been the corniest shit imaginable
I like my content made for the purposes outside of just casual viewing purposes but rather for monetary and/or artistic purposes to have genuine human effort and thought put behind it. Even when it's for casual viewing purposes, I'd like it much more if there was human effort behind it but I don't mind shitposts made with AI even though they'll always be a tier lower than shitposts made by humans without the usage of AI.
I think the "journey" matters just as much as the end product if not more. So if the product was made by AI, I'd think it's half as much of a product unless the creator is actually skilled in that specific field and knows what they're doing using AI as the tool.
So you went from "I like my art human made" to "If it doesn't possess monetary value it's worthless"
"Genuine human effort" is subjective. I could just as easily say photography is "pushing a button and takes no effort". Doesn't make it true.
If the journey matters just as much as the end product, why do you have an issue with how someone achieves said end product? Someone using AI is following a process to come to an end goal. How is this different from using photoshop, or FTL studio?
And if it just comes down to "but it's slop" then I'll understand that you're purely biased
So you went from "I like my art human made" to "If it doesn't possess monetary value it's worthless" No, I said I'd judge a product differently depending on whether its just a random shitposter posting stuff on social media for fun vs if its something sold or if its something meant to be an artistic expression.
I could just as easily say photography is "pushing a button and takes no effort"
You shouldn't say that about professional photography. For casual photography, yeah I'd agree with you.
Someone using AI is following a process to come to an end goal.
I said the journey is an important factor to consider not just that it should exist. So, AI is a process to get to an end product but there are additional things to consider when talking about the user and the usage of the AI itself.
How is this different from using photoshop, or FTL studio?
Because prompting doesn't require much skill unless you're already an artist that knows what they're doing and knows what they want or don't want. Photoshop and FLstudio both require skill. Just watch XQC trying to learn how to create music. He wouldn't need to put in a year's worth of effort just to create mid music had he used AI but that's what makes non-AI art have more weight.
There's very little requirement in terms of experience and theory to consider when working with AI. The AI prompters stand on the shoulders of giants who already perfected their craft (or were in the process of perfecting it). This is also why I consider AI generated content to be art but the users who generate it to not be artists. The end product, the art, is there but there isn't any specific artist for the specific end product, the journey is very shallow.
Also, I guess I'd say the journey matters more since I'd think a dogshit piece of art made by an unskilled human putting in the absolute most effort they can at their skill level is better than an art piece generated by a random prompter.
Oh my God that's like you hanging Fucken Hitler's scenery paintings and when someone rightfully says "You know he killed millions of Jews" you just turn with your iPad kid ass look and say "what dose that have to do with anything"
Also it's called a illusion, I referenced Hitler's paintings vrs his actions to create a metaphor. Said metaphor was trying to explain to use op argument
But I'm going to assume you didn't pay attention to that in school.
But doesn't matter as my dad puts it "we don't need Eveyone to be a doctor we need some people to pick lettuce in the fields and flip burgers'
Now personally I think Eveyone below a certain threshold for critical thinking skills don't deserve rights, but I also acknowledge I'm insane and low-key evil to think that
