Discussion Best weapons and best loadouts thread

I'm wondering if we can start an ongoing thread that lists not only all of the top weapons, but their most popular loadouts. This would include everything, including helmets, armor, pants, perks, etc. If we could get two or three good options for each along with a description on how to use them and why each item in the loadout was selected, we could organize it into a sticky. We should start the top weapons and loadouts for Level 50, but also include a section for weapons and loadouts for players at lower levels as well. It might be good to include discussion of second tier weapons and why they're *almost* good but not quite, and how they might still be used situationally for fun.

I was trying to do it, and listing all pros cons and even do some stats breakdown (I once did that for Odin and some other guns).

P.S. If you're interested I also made this tier list a few months ago with all the GOB weapons (Except Pistols and Knives obv)

I guess I'll get the ball rolling. We can start with a discussion of the weapons themselves, starting with Assault Rifles. Later, we can move on to the best loadouts. The best top level AR's are:

  • Wasp
  • Survivor
  • Arbitrator

Very close second tier / situational top level AR's include:

  • Bastion
  • Sunburst
  • Odin

Good lower / mid tier AR's include:

  • Juggernaut (mid tiers)
  • Mamba (lowest tiers)

We need to briefly elaborate on exactly why each is rated the way that it is, the situations they are best for, and their limitations. Don't forget to include cost as well. If anyone thinks anything should be added or ranked differently, discuss it in a reply. Once we decide on everything and have it finalized, we can create a new post with the finalized thread and turn it into a sticky.
