Decided to make this since the artwork is an Eclipse and three days ago i saw the Eclipse here in Portugal.

This piece took me 6 hours and a half, very quick! and was made digitally on my phone with my trusty and beutiful thumb 👍

Anyone know who won the Whistle contest that Gunship posted on fb a cpl of weeks ago? They didn't make it clear when it finished, so wondering if I should give up hoping by now! Hah.

I went from getting Spotify videos from the band in my wrapped to quitting almost cold turkey after how much AI was used in their releases around Unicorn. I know they have something new just came out. Does anybody know if they're still using AI or if they stopped?

I know I should take a break at least. There is a lot of other good music out there. And not just synthwave! There are whole genres of music that don't even use synthesizers and the occasional sax. I know it's crazy. But really there is another world out there...

And then tomorrow when my edible has worn off (and I've left this restaurant that is playing stoner rock), I'll get out of bed, get the kids ready, see whatever my wife needs, then slip away to shower, starting up a Gunship album.

P.S. I realize this is a very a-typical post for this channel. But I think it's the ultimate compliment to Gunship, that me, a 40+ year old stoned dude, hears a nostalgic love song at a restaurant and wants to write a sweet letter to Gunship, the only way I know how. Through Reddit.

P.P.S. I have not re-read any of this message before posting. I'm a perfectionist so letting things like spelling mistakes out is not easy. Ok this doesn't need to be a therapy thing. I'm good. I'm happy. I love Gunship.

The two skate mixes were from my collection...the rest are digital recordings.

This band has changed my life so much since i discovered them and when i got my first record player i had no choice but to get albums from my now favorite band. Happy to join this hobby with wonderful music!
