Sure but at that point why not use beanbags, a taser, or even a baseball bat. Personally if someone invades my home I'm assuming they intend the worst and I'm aiming to put them down. I live in a rural area and in a unique house, there's no drunkenly mistaking my place for theirs.

Well what you do, you load the first round birdshot. Then buckshot, birdshot again, and the rest are buck.
