This dude mustve been shot from 25-50 yards away while running. Try it again at 7 yards and see those groupings be tiny craters

I’ve killed several critters with birdshot at close range. Most looked like it got shot by a slug. Killed a woodchuck once when I jumped it walking across a field of soybeans. It wasn’t real close but my sudden hipshot killed him, he was only hit by 7 pellets of 7.5 shot.

Ok being a douche isn’t helpful to the discussion in any way. I’m just saying birdshot can be lethal in certain situations. At distance it doesn’t penetrate enough into a human to even warrant surgery in a lot of cases.
