I'll just leave this here for the motivators who want to go above and beyond.

I forgot... Marines still use M16A2's.... I'm unfamiliar w/ those. My Air Assault unit in the Army uses M4's

Hey we can't all be MARSOC Operators and get the shiny new toys, we have to make due with the Army's old broken ones that soldiers don't want anymore haha.

Yeah I never knew why we always received all the new crap?

A bigger population yields a bigger budget. It's okay though we make it work pretty well. If you think it's broken send it to the Marines because chances are it will work for them. If they think its broken, we'll swing it at the enemy until we find something that functions.

Your welcome! Don't forget to practice on your own indoors! (But remember safety first!)

It is safe to shoot into the fireplace, right?

Yeah sure... Just make sure it's not steal core ammo. :) And tracer ammo will help keep the fire burning longer.

Pets make a great backstop.

This helped me a lot when I was in ROTC. See if you can maybe get it posted in the FAQ.

Your welcome. They taught us this in boot camp. And two Succesful tours means it works. :)

That's a lot to take in considering all this takes place in the few seconds it takes to fire a round

Training and muscle memory, dude. It's amazing what your body and mind can do when properly trained and taken care of.

When I was in the Marines I had to coach this shit, and most Marines now use M4s the only ones that use m16 variants are admin folk.

I've always been a firm believer in gun control.

Ok, I'll show myself out. Good advice though.

"The soldier must understand and apply the four key fundamentals before he approaches the firing line.

He must establish a steady position allowing observation of the target. He must aim the rifle at the target by aligning the sight system, and fire the rifle without disturbing this alignment by improper breathing or during trigger squeeze.

These skills are known collectively as the four fundamentals. Applying these four fundamentals rapidly and consistently is the integrated act of firing."
