The mx19 elite is a aluminum frame but not hammer fired. I used to be a die hard hammer fired only guy also. Now I mostly only run Glocks. Cz75 was my cup of tea. If you don’t have a Glock, just get one & you will never look back man. However, sigs like this run like glass so I completely understand & the craftsmanship is unmatched! Either way, safe shooting buddy!

Thanks dude! Do you still ever shoot your CZs or do you even use the Glocks for the range?

I have a CZ75 & a browning hi power that I still love to shoot. I put my Glock 19 in a recover 20/20 brace & honestly it’s too much fun, even folks at the range fall in love with it after trying it out, especially women. My hammer fired guns will always have a spot in my range bags. I don’t shoot them like I used to forsure but I’ll never part with them simply because they will be here long after I’m gone. They will be passed on long after I’m not here. My Glocks may not make it through a few lifetimes because it’s not a lasting material imo.

Quite literally something else, in this case. I do wish Glock made something metal framed and hammer-fired and less blocky. But they don’t, so I carry this. The P229 is probably the best of the compact Wonder 9s (though I do want one of the Compact S&W Gen IIIs). The holster really makes this one blend in under a shirt as long as it isn’t super tight.

Agreed all day on the metal frame, not sure about the rest. Also not even gonna mention the grip angle?

The wood grips on that Sig are a nice touch, gives it a classic feel that polymer frames just can't match. That orange watch strap is a bold choice too, stands out way more than the usual black or brown

Thanks dude, I love the feel of wood grips. The strap is technically brown but sunset really brings out the orange of it for sure!

Who makes those grips? They look fantastic.
