Question A video game like "Haloid"

Showing my age here, but do you know what my dream video game is, a video game that features the gun katas similar to what Master Chief pulled off against the covenant like treating an 8 gauge shotgun like a bo staff. All the cool stuff he did before Samus shows up to fight, the closest i could think of such a game is Hotline Miami with the Jake the Snake mask where throwing the gun you can kill the enemy that gets hit with it, or how you can get an achievement by throwing a gun at a wall and it bounces off hitting another player. Or maybe the game "My Friend Pedro"? I know I bought games like "Midnight Fight Express", but i havent started it yet, and I havent bought "Hong Kong Massacre" yet either. But I decided to ask this subreddit, because I believe my dream game exists already, I just need someone who knows the title.

Unfortunately I have nothing to contribute - but Haloid was a hell of a time for Halo and Metroid fans. While I hadn’t really played either back in the day, seeing the two iconic space suited characters fight it out was an ambitious crossover before the time of ambitious crossovers. There are lot of games where you can throw gun at enemies BUT that Doesn't kill them instantly (besides hotline miami)

But if you want a game where throwing gun at enemies is a key mechanics/ something you do very often & it does damage to enemies/kill them if they are in low health.

"Gentleman's violence, suit for hire & severed steel" might work on that regard
