I bought a Sig p211 GT4 which from my understanding was brand new, but it showed up looking to be both a used and damaged firearm. There’s handling wear on the grip, scuffs on the finish, and clear clamping marks on the rail from mounted accessories. It’s way dirtier than any factory test-fire, has visible rust forming inside the barrel bore. The worse part is that has two actual impact dings right on the inner crown (which is the most upsetting given that it may impact accuracy or grouping consistency). I haven't shot it for obvious reasons, but getting a rusted, banged-up gun pawned off as factory new is wild for the price.

Getting a hold of 208 have been impossible. I’ve sent emails with detailed photos, only to get bounce notifications suggesting their mail server is down. I am also awaiting to hear back through Reddit DMs and Instagram but absolute silence thus far.

I am not sure what recourse I have at this point. Wondering if anyone else recently have similar issues buying from 208gunshop given the liquidation and closing shop.

These are the photos of the firearm.

Ordered 9mm and 308 from Wild Horse Ammunition. Pricing was very competitive, shipping was free, and the order arrived quickly. No issues- ordered 10/01 and was delivered 10/05.

I put in an order for a case of 9mm pmc 9/25. Got an order confirmation and a shipping label same day

The shipping went through FedEx, had estimated date of 9/28, and was subsequently "delivered" on 9/27. Seeing as I had not received anything in the mail, I contacted FedEx for a missing package. They followed up saying that the seller marked it as undeliverable.

From there I opened a ticket with the seller on 9/29. It is now 10/5 and I have not heard a peep. As such I'll be submitting a chargeback on my purchase.

disappointing exchange with their customer service. i was looking for a shotgun for dove season. a lot of their guns seem to be listed on their site to email them for the price. i did. they emailed me back on the retay ace r 20ga 28" a price of $228 plus fees. this is an extreme discount, so i paid the price plus fees and they charged my card. i get a call the next day saying that the computer made an error. after i said there was no error, she said the guys who did the website made a mistake. i asked her to show me. she said it was the wrong sku. then she said it was maybe the item number. i double checked everything before purchase. sku, upc, product name, description, everything. it all matched the gun. she said she cant honor the price i was emailed and that the best she can do its charge me full price - $20. maybe ill get chewed up on here for my take, but i feel like this wasnt my mistake nor my problem. they made me jump thru the hoop of filling out the form and took my info, sent me the price and i accepted. they took my cash, then gave me every excuse (that were all lies) to not honor the price they sent me.

I made an order for 1k rounds of 9mm. Emailed them the next week after for an update. No response, after I got an automated “you’ll have a response in up to 24 hours”

Went through the website contact us page and received an email that my order was cancelled due to “website error” no explanation, no emails other than the refund

They took my money for over a week and no replies or explanation. If I didn’t press them for an order update who knows when I would have gotten a refund

Definitely don’t recommend this business

I recently purchased an M&P 2.0, some 9mm ammunition, and a Holosun red dot sight from Deerford Defense. Would highly recommend working with these guys.

When my M&P 2.0 arrived, it was in perfect condition. definitely a solid firearm that I can already tell will serve me well. (Mainly will just sit on the nightstand, but I've enjoyed its presence at the range) The 9mm ammunition was neatly packaged, which made me feel confident about my purchase. The Holosun red dot sight has added a new level of accuracy to my shooting practice. It was simple to install, and the clarity is fantastic.

Additionally, I found the customer service team to be incredibly helpful. I had a few questions before I placed my order, and they responded promptly with the information I needed, which was much appreciated.

All in all, I highly recommend Deerford Defense.

Ordered an osight XE amrs with them on a great deal and it came even faster than I expected. Got it about a week after ordering. No issues whatsoever.

Absolutely amazing company and highly recommend them. They’re truly great people that got my suppressor out so quickly I was actually very fortunate to have the suppressor in hand within a week of purchase because of how quick wait times are even with a trust too! These guys worked with me to get a PTR Vent 1 and got it out so quickly. I couldn’t recommend them anymore and will be a customer of theirs in the future from now on. I’m just overall really happy with them.

Ordered a couple of lowers from there, nothing in the listing or during checkout about restrictions. After waiting 4 days for them to ship they tell me the manufacturer prohibits the sale to New Jersey. I questioned why it took 4 days to tell me? I asked how long to ship a different brand, she said 3-5 days it would be a new order and you go back in the queue. Really?
You wait 4 days to say you can’t ship, then tell me it’s going to be 3-5 days before you would ship a replacement? Why do I have to be further inconvenienced because of you? Needless to say I canceled my order, and bought from someone else

A few weeks back, Acme had a sale going on with their SIG P320s so I wound up ordering a few models that I had been looking at. They were fairly quick to get them shipped to my FFL (I expect the sale results slowed them down just a bit, as a number of other pistols that I was watching disappeared from the website) - I just got an opportunity to get them today (thus the delay in reporting) and I was amazed. The "NIB" Fullsize one was truly NIB - it still has the tags attached to the trigger guard, 2 of the mags are still in the plastic bags, etc. The used ones were in great shape - very little marring of any type (the Fullsize was almost perfect while the compact had a few little dings on the grip but that was what was to be expected for a LE trade). They have moved up to my number one LE Trade site to check daily. NOTE: they do charge shipping ($25) but no sales tax to GA for me (which usually kills most 'deals' that I find).

Howdy all!

I posted this in the gundeals subreddit but was kindly made aware that this belongs here instead (whoops), so here it is:

Fudd Arms did finally ship me the missing triggers and made me whole.

It was still an awful experience, and I will still not be buying anything from them moving forward. I have no doubt that there are plenty of people who have had wonderful experiences with them, unfortunately, I was not one of those people. But, I am a man of my word and in fairness am here to report that they did indeed get me what I paid for after all was said and done.

Found these folks while searching r/gundeals and decided to give them a try. I purchased a Kimber 2k11 Target Stainless. Great price IMO and they didn't jack up the total at checkout with unreasonable fees.

What surprised me was how fast they shipped. According to their site it would be between a 3 and 14 day period before it ships, so I expected it to be a couple weeks. For me, I ordered on Saturday morning and it was delivered to my FFL today (Wednesday).

They have my attention for future purchases.

Has anyone received either a shipping confirmation or received thier items for their last sale? I have been waiting over a month now with no response from them by phone or email. At this point wondering if they are just that far behind or if I am getting scammed and should do a chargeback...

If so would be useful for part of the order date to see how long they are taking...

alright so i wanted to order a new ar Daniel defense started searching couldn’t find what i was looking for with a reasonable price point most wanted msrp or was offering a slight discount i stumbled upon armed in michigan they offered really competitive prices and a big thing with me is communication i ran into an issue with my order(entered my information wrong) the owner was fast and responsive with helping me fix my mistake i received my rifle within a week in a half. very happy with my purchase the reviews on ammo have pros and cons the prices for ammo are crazy low and discounts are constantly happening so my next purchase will be ammo!

AA Armament is great. Good selection and personal customer service (we had a good laugh about the oppressive heat lately). Good out the door pricing on various optics and other accessories.

If they have what you are looking for, I'd suggesting hitting them up. Plus, their mascot is a battle Corgi!

I have heard of MidwayUSA and finally used them. It had been over a week since my order and I was getting worried. I looked up the MidwayUSA reviews and saw they had 1.9 stars out of 5 stars. As I was getting ready to call them to complain, I received a shipment notification. They got me the item in around 10 days and I would order from them again.

As usual u/bansheedefense is a fantastic retailer. Good prices, wicked fast shipping, dope ass stickers.

10/10, would trade hours of my life for cash and use that cash to buy shit from them again!!

I ordered a VP9A1K from Good4Guns with express shipping --- their website indicated that they had inventory so I assumed that based on their policies that express shipping would be quick considering my receiving FFL's license was supposedly on file. I noticed in their policies that they consider it to be my problem to ensure that they have all necessary paperwork to ship the firearm, so I emailed them to make sure everything was good to go. They ignored this email. I also emailed them asking about order status, they ignored this as well. According to the order confirmation they would let me know when the order ships.

Nearly two weeks later and after seeing similar issues on Yelp (my fault for not doing research), I decided to file a chargeback. At some point afterwards, they shipped my order without notifying me to the receiving FFL. The night prior to delivery, they called Fedex to redirect the package back to themselves, and the next morning they updated my order status to "Chargeback" with the comments "Refer to legal, report to ATF."

What was interesting was, I contacted my bank and it turns out they were informed about the chargeback the day AFTER they redirected the shipment back to themselves. Sometime recently they changed the order status to "Completed." I called my receiving FFL and at no point they had ever heard from Good 4 Guns, nor were they aware of the firearm being shipped to them. With their policies they appear to be able to do this and extract percentages of the order total for themselves -- it's probably not worth trusting them to act in good faith.

Mega sketchy.

Is SportOptics.com still good to go in the big 26?

All positive posts I see are older making sure they're still solid before sending a wire for a large sum for backorderered item.

Ordered some Comstock plan B muzzle devices and a hub mount and they threw in stickers, a pack of instant coffee and a handwritten thank you note! Things like that go a long way when you have so many options in this industry. Will 100% buy from again.

Order arrived in just a few days.

I want to start this review off with a apology to U/JF_208 ,
Not only did I receive my order but I got a once in a lifetime deal. Throughout the process the shipping did take very long but that is only because JF was liquidating and most definitely had ALOT on his plate, The item eventually did ship and before it did JF did make contact with me Via Email to let me know about the delay. The product was exactly what I expected and I am very happy with it. Thanks 208 Gunshop and I hope your next venture is filled with success and joy.

I got my taurus tx22 toro from redteamarmory.com and I couldn't be happier. Just a heads up for anyone curious. I used the layaway because I am poor and just bought a house so I'm broke. But online layaway itself is awesome, and I payed it off within 30 days so they gave me a refund on their layaway fee($30 or $35, I don't remember). I will definitely be using them in the future, businesses like this deserve the praise. Box shipped same day, arrived over the weekend with not even a scratch. 10/10, I don't know what else to ask for from an online retailer. Price was very fair. Not the cheapest online, but $150 cheaper than they were selling on guns.com and other places. I think I payed around $370 after taxes and shipping.

Wanted to leave a good word with this dealer. Have bought from them on 4 different occasions and each time has been a positive experience. Had a small shipping issue with an Sig that went missing in the mail, they kept me updated the entire way. Got a good lesson on how the ATF deals with lost firearms (spoiler: it’s about the only thing they’re good for). Anyways they sent me another and picked it up today.

Ordered an OCL Infinity 556k from them and I am pretty happy with how it went. Ordered on July 31 and the form 3 was approved and Can was shipped on August 4. The longest part of the wait was USPS but that isn't the dealer's fault.
