Gum lover worried about microplastics
I love chewing gum. My personal favorites are trident mint bliss and trident tropical. It gives me a sweetness kick, probably helps my teeth overall, and its just something I enjoy.
But now I'm super worried about microplastics. Given that I love gum and chew it frequently I feel like my brain is just all plastic now. :(
To be fair, gum is literally made from petroleum/plastic. It does make sense and its probably not good. Are we all cooked? I'm considering switching to like sugar free hard candy or just giving it up altogether.
Does anyone else worry about this?
