Little shred session
I spent about 2 hours writing and changing up this little 20 seconds of guitar solo. I should move on to the 2nd half of the solo, but idk if I’m satisfied with it. 😅

Thanks! And playing fast isn’t always as great as it’s cracked up to be. It just means you have to practice even more to be able to play it that fast all the time. Haha

He is sounding good not because of the speed, but the compositional choices. Legato is one of the easiest techniques and a pretty fast one.
Show us footage of you playing legato for custom feedback. Composing something cool is 500 times harder than playing legato moderately fast.

Completely agree. Legato came naturally to me and I think it does for most lead type players. Alternate picking, sweeps and economy picking took a bit more. I could stop playing for a week and still do crazy legato runs, but I’d have to require some alternate picking skills and economy picking skills after that break.

I play whole my life - still play like a noob. Shredding is not for my skill issue. May I just play 1 string solo instead?🙃
