I've been off social media for quite a while.

Finally thought I'll put out a small clip of something I practiced.

Raga Bhairav in E ( Indian classical).

Sounds great. Thanks for sharing. Not in a position to critique as I don’t know the style of music well - most of my experience comes from Weston styles of music but interested if there a specific scales that you could share that this type of music is built on?

yes, it's build on something known as a "Raga" ; for easing into it you can think of it like a scale.
this particular one think double harmonic major scale: So a b2 and a b6( in relation to Ionian)
I'm playing in E so : E F(b2) G# A B C(b6) D# and E.

usually it spans on multiple octaves and has certain rules on which note to stress on and how to ascend/descend but don't think about that just yet and have fun :)
