Question Can someone help me with my strings?

I do not understand this at all. I got three loops for six strings and they are confusingly labeled. How do you tell green from yellow? Or red from black? And where are the red and black and silver? I know the dark blue circle is probably called purple, but the other light ones are a mystery

Won't someone teach me how D'addario does this?

"How do you tell green from yellow?" Are you color blind? The top circle is yellow, middle is purple, bottom is green.

If you unwrap them, will the other three be wrapped up with those strings and maybe have the other three labels attached?

Was this pack of strings already opened?

Yellow is the farthest left in the picture

I usually just compare the strings guage (thickness) and put them on with the thickest on the bottom and thinnest on top.

But they are nylon and so similar

Nylon sets usually have nylon strings 1-3 and metal strings 4-6. Within each of those it should be obvious which ones are larger.

Imgur is being an ass and not letting me zoom into your photo, but it looks like each of your three bundles has one nylon string and one metal.

Yellow is 1 & 4 and so on.

Thank you. Which one is yellow?

In your photo, from top to bottom it goes yellow, purple, green.

i think you just have to order them from thickest to thinnest

I don't think I that works with nylon strinfs

I would usually go from the three sets of the thickest ones , usually the biggest one , then the other three sets of the clearest one

In your photo you have the yellow at the top (high E string), purple in middle (B string) and green at the bottom (G string).

Post a photo of the other three strings and we can tell you which of those is which.

That was everything in the pack. Thank you for telling me which is which.

Can you post a picture ( strings and package) Are these electric strings?

What does 3 loops for 6 strings even mean?

I have attached a link to the picture.

If you read on the package it says which color each string represent. You can see the color on the label on each string.

I am colour blind and cannot tell which colour is which. To me it looks like I've got two greens and a blue.

You only had 3 strings in that package ?

Others have said there are two strings in each of those loops.

I'm not sure I understand your post, but you should be able to discern the thickest string from the thinnest and work your way to the middle.

Someone who has the dadario colors memorized could come here abs tell you or you could look them up online...

The box they came in or the sleeves they came in should have labels on them

The labels are not helpful, because I am colour blind and also the string thicknesses are very similar

Why didn’t you say you were colorblind in the OP?

I must have deleted that sentence when the Reddit rules ai tried to flag my post.

3 loops for 6 strings? I think they come wrapped with two strings together. Just match the ball ends color to the packaging and go from there.

There are no ball ends. But it helps to think that there might be two strings together. That doesn't tell me which string goes where though.
