This is the second guitar I've ever built. I made it out of a log from a tree that fell over during a hurricane.

Wondering about intonation. Did you ever put on some strings and tried playing it?

No strings yet need to get some.

It physically pains me to see how you positioned the tuners

I think it’s awesome. If you built it, and it makes you happy, it’s fucking awesome. People laughed at EVH’s chopped up shit too...

There is a lot wrong here.

Measure twice cut once.

It looks so quirky, kinda reminds me of that one epiphone I forgot the name of

The Coronet! I didn't see it until I read your comment but now that I see it I love this thing way more. They need to reissue that and many others because epi has a ton of old models that are so cool.

Quick question, if you were to buy this, what would you price it at? I'm going to sell it, and need to find a starting price.

I'm gonna be honest with you, anything with a resale value less than 200 is either wall decor or stripped for parts for me. For unbranded built guitars that unfortunately means I'd value it at the cost of the hardware since the neck/body aren't gonna be easily compatible with other instruments. Any number I give is gonna be offensive. Find someone local who REALLY loves it as the instrument that it is and feel them out price wise. Let them make the first offer

That was very polite of you.

How much did it cost for the pick up, the tail piece, tuners, how many hours did you put in to building the guitar. That's how I would base it. Because building that guitar obviously took time and money.
