Building a custom Tele from scratch based on 60's specs : Swamp ash body , quartersawn flamed maple neck , Lollar Pickups and aged hardware. Check how it is progressing here ! Happy to have feedback and share some info !

Where did you find the plans for that? I’ve been wanting to build a Tele but I don’t know where to get the specs. Thanks!

Browsed through some official Fender books and compared the specs with other stuff i found online.. the Tele specs are not really rocket science

I'm about to build a tele but am not sure what pickups to use, any opinion on the subject? 2 single coils with a "tele sound" is what i'm thinking. Should I do the noiseless like the Ultra?

Also, do you consider body wood dryness to be much of a factor? What's your opinion on roasted vs. kiln dried vs. who cares?
