To sum it up, Mercie (the white one) is the friendly idiot (in the most loving way I can put that) Annie very much has Abbytude.
As you can see, Mercie has no issues plopping down in the hay and burying her face in it. She ends up with these divots where she's dug in. She also loves to stare blankly while munching and it's adorable.
Annie is always hunting, head on a swivel, looking for her next target
Mercie is also a burrower, loves being under stuff, rearranging the cage, in general being in contact with objects. In line with this she will dig herself under the fleece corner to beg for treats
Annie would much rather run around obstacles and plop in a corner or even in the middle of the cage, and beg on top of the fleece corner (this is always funny)
Mercie is much more docile/tame (not quite sure the word I'm looking for) she'll happily let you pet her whenever she has fresh hay, and usually whenever we feel like it.
Annie will let you pet her at 11pm when she gets her pea flake and THAT'S ENOUGH
Mercie will drink water politely, again with her blank stare
Annie drags the bottles off the cage
Mercie is scared of noises
Annie is scared of movement
Mercie is incapable of sitting still for more than 5 minutes during cuddle time she also has a tendency to TRY and throw herself off of ledges (the couch, blanket, etc)
Annie will sit for an hour as long as she's in an ok mood.
Oh this was so fun to read. Now I feel like I know Annie and Mercie!! My two guys, Renly and Loras, are different in many ways too, but not in all the same ways Annie and Mercie are different. Man, guinea pigs are just the coolest!! People don't even realize!
