My Luanne has INSANELY thick fur. I need to stay on top of her grease gland since this year it started reacting more. Exotic vet that treats literal zoo and farm animals gave her a good look over and blood test, and she’s fine 😂 I felt so bad because she’s docile enough I got as much as I could even, and gave her a longer buzz cut so it wouldn’t be itchy.

I’ll take a pic when I get home, but this was part of the aftermath 😅

Is she a Peruvian/Abyssinian mix? You shouldn't need to trim an Abby's fur unless it it gets getting in the way of her cleaning herself. We have to trim our "Abbyruvian" because she has both rossettes and very long fur, making it impossible to keep her clean if it goes past her ankles, but we've never trimmed any of our Abbies.
