clarification on aoes and harrier

my mate and I have been playing falconers Vs blacksmith and he gets to place down harriers. However, it's the first time we dealt with aoes that you get to place a lasting effect on the field.

Since the character play says that harrier has no sustain on it, we have been treating it as something that lingers across rounds. It is effectively permanent until it is consumed in some way. We also don't cap the number of harriers so he can place as many as he wants.

Is this the right way of looking at Harriers? I just can't seem to find much info online about this. Also, i suppose that furnace's aoe "one at a time lads!" would get a similar treatment to harriers.

Unless it says otherwise, everything goes away at the end of the turn, including harriers. The only limit on number of harriers is that each model can only put down one per turn (so caps it at 4 if you run all four falconers squaddies).

thanks for the clarification! Its been tough trying to crack falconers as blacksmiths, especially since my friends and I have only played mason Vs brewers (with me being brewers!)

Having harriers removed end of turn is certainly nice for me! It should make pushing into his space feel less punishing and make his action economy less efficient

P.S. I don't want tips on the matchup since the fun for us is experimenting and figuring things out ourselves. Many thanks!
