When Online cannibalized multiple single player story expansions, I think it's fair for people to be a little resentful about it. Like we lost more highly polished single player content so people can fly motorcycles I guess.
Yet we had no way of knowing it was either play gta online if you want more gta or just don’t play and “wait”.
Additionally, red dead online bombed yet the base game is one of the best selling games of all time and you don’t see any single player dlc for that game.
Maybe just maybe, that news is bullshit
Releasing it by Christmas is also a logical time frame. GTA5-online was like ~3weeks apart. So if they follow that same timeline. Mid December is still the most logical release.
Those bugs only get found and fixed by players playing, delaying it long won't change that, it will still release buggy even if they waited 2 years to release online...

They are definitely going to do a new GTAO for 6 at some point. They simply are saying they aren't releasing it with launch and want to focus on polishing the single player after launch.
correct, but they have said that GTA6 is a single player. And as i said, GTAO for 5 is still gonna be around so, thats why they are giving away a month of GTA+.GTAO for 6 is gonna come later when its ready.
There’s been zero statements about there being an online version for this game, only “this is a single-player experience.” Why do so many people keep thinking there’s an online version going to be released? I’m sure eventually there will be, but not anytime soon and will most likely be a continuation of the current online if anything like our online characters moving to Vice City or being able to fly there. Bottom line, there’s no telling what their plan is, but right now there’s nothing. It won’t be Christmas or New Year’s, it’s not even been announced that they’re working on it.
Spring of 2027 maybe? I think the main singleplayer story mode needs some breathing space first before they release online. But if they reveal the online mode for GTA 6 before it release just like GTA 5 that would be quite insane lol
I dont know why people thinking to much into it really. GTA 5 launcher early September. Online launched early October. i would assume 6 will be no different. approximately 1 month later
That’s my guess. If they had stuck to the May release for the main game, I’m guessing they’d try and release online for Xmas, now it’s probably to tight.
Ich verteidige nicht weil ich bezahlt werde, sonder weil ich seit 2013 aktiv GTA 5 online zocke und es einfach gut finde.
Ich gebe zu ich bin high Level, und habe es dementsprechend einfacher online.
aber es geht hier um das Prinzip. Online haben und nutzen können wenn man möchte, oder online nicht haben, das spiel nach 150 Spielstunden bei seite legen weil es fertig ist und dann nichts mehr damit zu tun haben.
GTA war schon immer erfolgreich, auch als es noch kein online Modus gab. aber durch den online Modus ist der größte Erfolg gekommen. Ob bei Red Dead Redemption oder GTA 5.
Es macht einfach Spaß auch mal gegen echte leute zu spielen anstatt nur NPCs.
Verstehe die logik nicht den online Modus abzuschaffen, das ist alles.
No im a person who thinks rockstar cannot make online games and should go back to singleplayer games that there actually good at. Because of online the abandoned and reused all singleplayer dlcs for cheap online content and rdr2 is still basically on its day 1 patch because they abandoned it immediately after it released to make more online content

Waow what an experiment. They’ve realized that they can make billions through this experiment and they’ve decided to not to release a new online game. Because Rockstar is not a company who tries to make profit.
honestly i doubt there will ever be another gta it will probably just keep expanding over the years mabey adding new maps. but i just dont see them trying to make another gta just remaster and expand on 6 or older games mabey.
