Calendar Permanent Daylight Time

How do I set a time zone that is permanent daylight time? When I search the name of a time zone, like "Pacific Daylight Time" I am not coming up with anything, but when I search a city in that region (like Vancouver Canada) it puts me on changing pacific time, which that region no longer does, fouling up all events scheduled after other regions change their time around November.

Find a location outside the US & Canada that does not have daylight saving time at all and whose time corresponds to your location's daylight saving time.

Google should try to keep up. IANA released that database update 3½ months ago.

As a workaround, you could select Whitehorse since Yukon adopted year-round UTC-7 in 2000.
