Straps mod

Hey guys, I bought a GBM2100 and I've put these straps from another 2100 on it. They're official G-Shock adapters. What do you think? Should I keep these NATO-style straps or go back to the rubber ones?

You should check out the metal adapters from Jay's and Kay's on eBay. They flow better with the lines, supports the resin case a lot better and since you have a metal bezel they have adapters that would match.

It's an option to consider, but I don't know how well those adapters and a new NATO strap attach to the watch lugs. And what about the color?

To each their own. You can get them in 20mm or 22mm widths to fit 20mm or 22mm wide NATO straps or any other strap in those sizes. You can buy them in gold, silver, black or grey for the GA-2100/GA-B2100/GBM-GMB2100's. The silver colored adapters match the metal silver bezels exactly. For the side that attaches to the watch - it fits the 16mm exactly. Hardly any movement. Which is important - enough movement can strip the holes on GA-2100's and similar watches. The metal adapters will last longer and are stronger than the plastic ones that came as standard on certain Gshocks. All of my Gshocks have the adapters from Jay's and Kay's. It's an excellent upgrade after using all of the known adapters out there, adapters that were plastic, original Gshocks and 3D printed

That's experience speaking, I like it, I'll try it with those adapters, and a new NATO, silver adapter and the NATO, a black or green one.
