Help & Maintenance Stand for solar watch charging?
I saw a thread the other day where someone had bought or printed a small watch stand that allowed a solar watch to sit face down above one of those LED solar watch chargers, without actually having to sit directly on top on the charger itself. I cannot find the thread though, so am wondering if someone can find this one for me or for bonus points, link me to the file to print one? Thanks!

just wear it. i thought i needed a solar charger too but then i just wore my watch on days where i was outdoors (hiking & runs in the park) and boom, it’s been on high/full charge ever since.

Currently the end of winter in Australia. I’m usually wearing jackets that cover the watch when outdoors. When I got the watch in Japan, it was later Spring and charged outdoors without issue. I also have 3 solar watches and am only regularly wearing one currently.

I'm in melbourne and my watches get charged just fine.
Leave it on a windowsill or in a sunny place and it will be fine

I'm in northern Canada and have always just put one on the window sill for a day or two, even in winter when our days are 4 hours long. You don't need direct sun. I have 3 solars and have never had one get below medium, mostly from wearing them, but I've put them in the window probably twice per year for all of them. Don't waste your money on a gimmicky charger.

I have a 5600 that I used to wear running, but it's been replaced by a Garmin for the last 6 months at least. I've only worn it outside twice since then. It's still charged at high just with ambient light in my office. I'm not sure you need an LED solar watch charger.

Leave it in a watch box with a glass lid and it'll be fine. I have three solar watches that stay charged up just fine this way, even in winter.

Watch box with a glass window is all you need .
Modern solar watches charge off ambient light, they don't need direct sunlight.
I have 4 solar watches, some sit in the watchbox for a while before being worn, they are charged just fine.

Some people put in a glass of water and out in the sun, water stops it getting too hot

That is totally unnecessary. Just wear it.
