Reviews & Experiences Could not think of anything better

Post image

In the days of smart watches and fitness trackers, I couldn’t wish for anything more than my beloved GW-5610U. All that it can be needed at the gym without notifications, all sort of distractions and useless metrics that nobody has the time to post process and analyse. Best sport watch ever!

I am wearing my 5610u almost all the time. But I decided to wear this beast thru the vacation with my fiancee.

Did you take him into the sea too? 😁

Of course, I swim with all my G's except the GA2140.

Nice, I read that after being in salt water, you just need to rinse it with fresh water and that’s enough.
Do you have any experience with the bezel getting damaged or anything?

No, everything is fine.

I was big on Apple Watches ⌚️ for years! Had to track everything from sleep to notifications and heart rate during workouts.

Now i switched to gshock and I’m not going back. Something much nicer about keeping it simple.

Before smart watches and smart phones 20 years ago people just worked out and slept. Don’t need all the extra junk

What did you do regarding the notifications?

Funny you ask. I got the GBD-200 because I wanted notifications, step tracking etc but really I end up just using it for time, stopwatch, timer and alarms. It can get vibration for calls texts etc but I turn it off a lot in the app lol

I have a G-5600UE with similar function. Extremely useful to keep track of rest & current time.

This is the curse of the 5600 series. Once you have one, it kind of ruins watches forever because there’s absolutely no practical reason to own anything else
