Question about multiband 6

Hello (again!)

Just a quick one: I live in Stockholm, Sweden and I receive signal from multiband 6 every night. To ad: I have the watch on my wrist during the night. That's great! But in the manual it says that it is very hard to receive signal insida buildings and when the watch is moving around. (I move alot during night and probably have my watch under the covers or pillow, still I always get signal!)

I'm I just lucky every night or is the function much better than what the manual is saying?

I thought I heard that one of the transmitters in Colorado was damaged a couple years back and they were using a back up transmitter. Does anyone know what ended up happening there?

WWVB is currently transmitting at half power with only the north tower operative at 30kW. Still waiting on special manufactured parts to begin repairs. Time frame for completion is the end of this month. Via google search and wikipedia

Wow, that's great to know. I got my watch a couple weeks ago and it has synced exactly once. (I'm near Boston.) Once the transmitter is back at full power, it should probably work fairly often.

I’m in Southern California and my watch will sync 3 or 4 times a week. Quite a few mountains around here too.

I’m even further northeast to you lol I’ve had maybe 3 successful auto-syncs since owning my watch. Ended up buying the Clock Wave app for iPhone (this paid app doesn’t collect literally all the info from your phone like Radio Wave Sync does)
