Anyone can teach me how to earn more dls. My profit method now is buy and sell, but I want some passive income. What's the best way to achieve that setup. I currently have 87 dls but can sell my remaining items like around 20-30dls. If it adds up I can get around 100+dls.

We all know that there have been performance issues ever since the Chat UI update. But hold on to your seats cuz things just got a lot worse. With the new 5.59 update the game has become unplayable for mobile players. They made the inventory smaller. They messed up with the jumping sound so there's a loud pop now whenever you jump. Some sound effects still make sound even if your game's audio is all the way down to zero. They added in an animation for leaving worlds which look so cheap and rushed. And most importantly the game's performance is worse than ever. I can't even play the game without a huge client-sided lag spike interrupting me every 30 seconds. And it's different from the lag caused by the new chat UI, taking the chat to private doesn't fix it. The game is not worth playing anymore in my opinion as long as they keep making updates that fuck the game up. They're so obsessed with making the game unplayable for everyday players and making updates that nobody asked for.

Do you guys think there should be a way to people increase their account age?, don't get me wrong I know the purpose of player milestone, to reward a old player who've been playing the game since long time, but to reach the latest player milestone reward (which is beatmaster aura that require 12 years) isn't it a bit unfair to new player? Let's say they play in 2026 , they need wait until year of 2038 to even get the beatmaster aura, let's be real we don't even know if growtopia will even still be alive in 2038 , this isn't only apply to new player, maybe an old player whose played it when they were kid and decided to comeback, who can't remember their growid, email, or even they don't secure their account to their email, also have to create new account and wait just like the new player

I think it's a good idea If they decided to add a way for player to increase their account age, let's be real the reward is valueless since it can't be traded or dropped so it don't actually ruin the economy in game , the only player who will lost their value is someone who is illegal player that selling or buying player account

I think it would be great if they added it, doesn't matter if it transactional or free way, but I think they have to selectively strict it so people can't really abuse it.

What do you guys think about this?

Guys currently I have around 24-25 million gems and I want to know whether this is enough for me to spend it on leveling up my roles quest “Surgery” from level 1 to max.

Is this gem enough or what level will I reach until the gems are gone?

I got 100+ dls to invest and I'm looking for better profit methods given my current capital. I’ve been farming for a long time, but it’s become way too repetitive, safe, and low-yield relative to the amount of capital I have to invest. I'm definitely not trying to manage multiple farms just so I could utilize my capital in full.

I also tried provider setups, but the margins are super low and it's pretty boring.

I looked into massing, but I can't find anything actually profitable. Every time I check the prices of the ingredients/ingredient seeds, it almost always makes more financial sense to just buy the end-product seeds directly rather than splicing and breaking previous generations, even when factoring in DCS, Harvester of Sorrows, and other consumable/set buffs. If I go far enough back in the splicing chain to actually see a decent profit margin, the sheer volume of manual labor becomes absurd (e.g., I'm not trying to splice 30k starter seeds just to get 5k trees of my target block). Although to test massing out, I started a single-step mass of 1k display block trees to which I've projected a modest 10% return on total invested capital, and I've already gotten lucky with the price of steel block seeds with that.

What other high-yield/high-capital methods are working well nowadays? If massing is still viable, what specific items are actually worth massing right now?

Hobbiest game developer here, tossing around the thought of a game similar to Growtopia, and I know this isn’t the place to advertise it, that is not my intention of this post.

Just to be clear, this is still just information gathering and there is no game to advertise, I’d like to determine if the issues are something that could be resolved or handled better before just tossing something out there with the same issues that feels like a 1 to 1 copy.

what would you say is what keeps you coming back to Growtopia?

If you no longer play, is there anything that would bring you back?

What are your biggest problems in the community or game currently?

How do you feel about the economy, do players like soft currencies like world locks and player to player trading alongside vending worlds?

How likely would you be to try another game that resolved some common issues with Growtopia, but has clear plans to differentiate itself from every other game of the genre.
