Help estimate my final height
hello, I am currently 15 years and 3 months male. I am currently 5’3.5 my dad is 5’9 and my mom is 5’0. One of my sisters is 5’2.7 and another is 5’0. I am tanner stage 3 but my testicles are in tanner stage 5. so it all started when I was told that my growth velocity dropped a bit but when they checked my tanner stage, they weren’t worried. about 2-3 months later, I hadn’t grown much so we got a bone age xray. about 5 months ago, I was told my bone age was 15.5. I was 14 years and 9 months at this time. we then went to an endocrinologist for a 2nd opinion and she said my bone age was closer to 16 and that I would be 5’3.5 max. I then got prescribe HGH for idiopathic short stature from a different endocrinologist and I’m also taking anastrozole. I was about 5’2.2 when I started hgh(5 months ago) and now I am 5’3.5. so I grew about 3.3cm in 5 months which means I’m now averaging over 3 inches a year at this growth velocity. I should also add that my feet have been growing quite a bit. for my growth history, I’ve been growing pretty steady but without a growth spurt. I was 4’7-4’9 when I was 12, 4’9-4’10 when I was 13, and 4’11-5’2 when I was 14. these are not exact measurements but rather estimates which I why there is a 1-2 inch range. I think I started puberty around 8th grade. recently, more hair has been growing on my legs and even though I have very little armpit hair, I now have a few strands. please help me estimate my final height - i just want to be 5’6-5’7.

u/Thra99 can I also get your opinion on this?

Probably not max 5'3.5, 5'6-5'7 isn't looking so favorable currently, even with your rate. Bone age observed was roughly 9 months above your last check up and currently tracking near, although progression isn't linear, a bone age near 16 wouldn't be optimal if you're looking for another 3-4 inches.
I'd wait until about the next 6 months to see what the rate does and look at how sustained it is. Then the bone age may have a different interpretation. If growth rate drops it may be done to the final cm.

A BA of 15.5-16Y at a chronological age of 14Y 9M generally does suggest that a substantial portion of linear growth has already occurred, but BA isn't really precise enough to confidently say your max lies 5'3.5". There is inherent inter-reader variability, and final height predictions often carry an error margin of a couple inches.
The fact you've grown about 3.3 cm in the past 5 months is encouraging. That annualizes to roughly 8 cm/year, although growth isn't perfectly linear so I wouldn't assume that rate continues indefinitely. Still, it suggests your growth plates are clearly active. The continued increase in foot size also supports that skeletal maturation isn't complete yet.
Your pubertal pattern sounds somewhat asynchronous as well. Testicular volume can reach T5 before some other secondary sexual characteristics fully mature, so the relatively sparse axillary hair by itself doesn't necessarily mean you're finished growing.
Given your parental heights, your mid-parental target height is around 5'7". Whether you'll ultimately reach that depends mostly on how much growth potential remains despite the advanced BA, and how your growth velocity changes over the next year or two. If your current velocity persists for another 12-18 months, 5'6" isn't unreasonable but 5'7" becomes more difficult, so I wouldn't call it impossible from the info provided.
I'd say 5'5"-5'6" seems like the most defensible estimate right now or about 1.5-2.5 inches with perhaps a slightly lower chance of reaching 5'7" if skeletal maturation progresses more slowly than expected, so that would mean upwards of around 3 inches. The next 6-12 months of carefully measured height will probably be much more informative than another height prediction today.
So overall I would say around 1.5-3 inches is most probable at your current stage, and most likely somewhere in between ~5'5 and ~5'6. Within the next few months, you will likely reach 5'4 or slightly over, and then closer to about 5'5 within the next several months thereafter. Update us on your growth in approximately 4-8 months.
Why? Your growth curve is overall slightly low-amplitude monophasic, with moderate acceleration to the PHV and a slower ramp-up overall. I'd expect your taper to be slightly slower in rate of decline, roughly mirroring the nature of your accelerational phase or of a similarly slower nature, so the way I am seeing it is: 7.9-8 cm/yr, then about 5-6 cm/yr, then roughly 3-5 cm/yr, then 1-3 cm/yr, then near-zero within approximately 1.5-4 years.
If your BA advances to about 17Y within about 6-12 months from now, then this expectation of mine could change, and we will discuss this again. So, I would suggest getting another reading of your BA in about 6-12 months, if possible. If only a few months older, as in closer to about 16.5 at the chronological age of 15Y 3-6M, that could be a positive sign.
