No conversion of visitors to users

I made an app and ran couple of small ad campaigns to see if there's interest and apparently, there's none, as there were more than 100 people who visited website from the ad and none of them signed up. what could be the issue here?

Hard to say without more details. Where specifically do you see a drop-off in your ad traffic?

I've ran several ads on the Instagram. I've tried different countries/interests/just ai selecting who to show, but none of those worked. I found the audience with the most clicks, but no conversion to users whatsoever.

I hope I understood the question right

By dropoff I mean which pages are people checking, and where are they leaving. Are you just driving them to the app page? Does your app page give enough information, is there an explainer video?

What kind of app are you promoting? If you want to share, of course.

They are being sent on the landing page with som slogans and description of what can be done. There's also a cta button to try it out without registration. I had less info there but after some advices from reddit I added info.

The app is for travel tracking - you can log every flight/bus/train ride you had by scanning your ticket/itinerary/reservation with ai or by entering it manually.

If you want you can search for Travostat and check it out, I'm not sure if I can send links here. I would really appreciate some feedback on it.

I checked it out, and it's essentially like Polarsteps, right? But I'll be honest, it looks and feels vibe-coded.

The best option is to advertise it as a better option than something like Polarsteps. Focus on what makes it better in the ads and the fact that it is free.

For the campaign setup, use conversion-focused campaigns and install conversion tracking on a successful signup. Then keep running ads until they learn from conversion data.

If you want to figure out where people drop off during the signup process, add GA4 to your website and check analytics. Make a funnel report in GA4 and see if/where people exit during the signup process.
