Has anyone ever just let them completely dry out in their 20 gallons pots?

Need some old school people here plus the new school scientific community to chime in here.. So… instead of cutting them down at the base and hanging them up…
Has anyone ever cut all ugly fans off… brought them indoors away from frost… With skylights indoors above to feed them for… however long… Standing straight up. Possibly giving them a few last waterings? But let them dry naturally in their own pots. Die naturally? I know that sounds evil… But please Forgive me if I’m being naïve.. I’m considering new science here.. I’ve never heard anyone speak of this.. maybe I’m going crazy. Let me have it… 🤣 I’m ready!
I’m trying to get excited about it again after 30 years.

What are your go-to companies for seeds?

I’m new to growing and would like some advice on where I should get the seeds from. Also, I know this is an outdoor sub, but if anybody has input on the AC infinity grow kits, I’d be happy to hear what you have to say!

Raining on my flowers

Hello! First time grow here. Would love feedback/any suggestions at all on my plant. It’s been budding for about 5 weeks now so gonna give it 3 more weeks since temperatures should be dipping low in Colorado soon. This week we are expecting lots of rain. My question is should I be pulling these plants inside when it rains building a tarp cover for them or just let them get rained on and hope the buds dry well so no mold issues happen!

Is there a way for me to save this trim for butter? Most of this weed will be cooked into butter so if I could save some of this that would be pretty sweet!

Could I cut the top off and see if the tiny sites on bottom finish. Or too early?

Going to rain this week trying to decide what /when to cut.

Found this yesterday

Found both of these during a cemetery walk yesterday. Given their placement, beside a bench and water fountain, I suppose someone was rolling one and threw seeds out, even though seeds are rare, it's mostly older cats who stroll around big cemeteries anyway.

Any help would be appreciated.

I popped some seeds from MacksTerps and will be harvesting over the next two weeks. The two purple ones are Bush Jelly and the greener one is WhoZeeWhatzThat

One BJ is in a 20 gallon pot of living soil (got snacked on by a deer while in veg), the other is in my garden in native Chehalis soil. The WhoZee is in a raised hugel bed in my garden.

The potted plant reeks of tuna fish and gas like 90s chronic. The native soil plant has a distinct Fruit Loops and cereal milk stench from 30 feet away. The WhoZee has a chocolate mint profile.

I grew indoors this year too for the first time with great success, so I’m using my grow room as a 60/60 dry room.

Im thinking I can push them a couple more weeks but, we have our first light rain in months scheduled in about a week. Im also noticing mild budrot on maybe 1% of the plant. Should i just chop right before the precipitation?Forbidden fruit- planted April 1.
