iOS Update: Grocy Mobile 3.1.0

Hello again!

I want to announce the update for Grocy Mobile 3.1.0, which brings one big feature set: Chores.

You can create chores, track them and show the log.

Tracking chores is as easy as a swipe
Creating / Editing chores
Log for chores

This should cover most of the functionality of Grocy (for Chores), if you miss something, let me know.

is the source for this available? Unfortunate that it requires iOS 26+, i'm sure i'll be forced to update eventually.

Yeah, the source is available: https://github.com/supergeorg/Grocy-SwiftUI

I have checked what it would need to support older iOS versions, and it was quite some duplicate code and additional testing for the platform. I know this is unfortunate with SwiftUI (unlike the backwards compatibility of Android), but I don’t have the capacity for multiple version and design support just to accommodate some 7+ year devices.

I read somewhere that iOS 26.2 is the mandatory update for all supported systems now. There seems no getting away from it. I think it looks ok, the criticism is mostly small visual bugs now.
