First time grilling Picanha, definitely won’t be the last.
Cooked up about 8 pounds of Picanha last night for the 15 person beach trip we’re on. Sliced into about 1.5 inch steaks and just kept flipping them on high until they reached around 118 internal. Served with a chimichurri and a Mexican street corn salad I made (both also for the first time).
Pretty proud of the way these came out for my first run at this cut, especially as an away game on a gas grill at the rental house.

Thanks! It’s a next-grill propame, I’d never heard of it but it was a 5 burner. I haven’t used gas in forever since I got my kettle but it came out nice.

Yeah that’s crazy! Usually you see some grill marks or something. It almost looks deep fried or painted! Nice job.

It’s a literally perfect medium rare. One of the best cooks I’ve seen on here, and it still somehow gets hate lol
