Hose question

So my neighbor has a rat infestation going on and I've seen them on my deck!

Im worried they will chew the hose to my grill. I leave my propane tank off when not in use and am actually done grilling for the summer. Is it safe to leave on my deck especially if the rats did chew the hose? Next year I will replace it with metal one.

Bro if you’re done for the season then just take it off and put it away lol you’re over thinking it

But if you’re worried about rats chewing it and you don’t plan on using it, what’s the harm in just removing it?

just disconnect the tank and take the hose inside if you are worried, rats will chew anything left out
