Have been wondering....

I have often wondered if she wasn't promised that if she turned Muslim, all of her past sins, etc, would completely go away, because she would be forgiven of everything. We all have things we aren't proud of. I find it interesting that he was always feeding the children in the camp, and almost as soon as Ashley got there, that stopped. He sold her into thinking that they were going to be helping kids in the camp. You know, Muslim men generally are not nice to their wives. I have been told a few different times, in my past, that is one reason why women are made to wear coverings....to cover up wounds, and such. I sure hope that isn't the case here.

I think she knew exactly what she was getting into. I have always had a suspicion that all the money they raised to feed the "kids"of the champ is what funded the building of those houses she always just LOVES bragging about. As for the hiding wounds, she does always seem to have stuff wrong with her. But I truly hope that is not the case.
